The unique combination of light and fireworks, that’s Electric Fireworks. The place to be to ring in the new year, to ground ourselves together in 2025 – the 750th anniversary year of the city of Amsterdam. One place to come together as all “Amsterdammers”, to begin a new adventure together. One beautiful moment of connection.
We celebrate the new year with an extensive program. Earlier in the evening (19:00 PM), the celebration kicks off with a special edition for children: Electric Fireworks Junior. From 10:30 PM, the pre-party begins, a celebratory warm-up for the New Year’s Eve celebration! Of course, at 11:50 PM, the spectacular countdown begins, the moment to count down to 2025. Exactly at 00:00 AM, the party comes to a high, and we ring in the new year with Electric Fireworks.
Also in Nieuw-West, people will be able to enjoy a spectacular, sustainable, traditional fireworks show at Sloterplas this year!
Electric Fireworks and the show at Sloterplas are freely accessible
Especially for the little ones who can’t attend Electric Fireworks at midnight, we will celebrate the new year earlier in the with Electric Fireworks Junior hosted by Edson da Graça. But Edson has a problem… He has lost the fireworks code! The code that is needed to light Electric Fireworks Junior. He needs to search for it, and he really needs your help with doing so! Will you help Edson find the code, so that Electric Fireworks Junior can go off on time?
